The Project: To write a number of long-form product descriptions for a new business selling customisable promotional products.
The Goal: Each product page was designed to rank highly for google searches by the target audience, and to encourage a bulk purchase.
The Audience: The audience for these product pages were executive assistants, sales managers and other related roles within both large corporations and small businesses who needed promotional products for events, gifts, or employees.
Tone: Professional yet fun to read, promotional, sincere yet humorous
Solution: I concentrated on the needs of the audience for each product, combined with copy that was fun to read for people tasked with organising corporate events. For each product, I began by providing an example of an instance when the product could be used, so the purchaser could imagine the item fitting into their life. I then provided information about how the specific product could be used as a promotional item, and how potential customers might see the item during use. Then I provided specific details of the item, and closed with a call to action.
